Recently, at the Central headquarters of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, 73 Quan Su, Hanoi, Supreme Patriarch Sayadaw Sandimar Bhivamsa and the Myanmar Sangha visited and congratulated the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha on the occasion of Buddha's birthday PL.2568 - DL. 2024.

In his eighth term, from March 9, 2024, Mr. Sayadaw Sandimar Bhivamsa was elected Supreme Patriarch of the Myanmar Buddhist Sangha. This is the highest position of the Myanmar Buddhist Church recognized by the State.
