Venerable Tinh Van (born July 22, 1927) in Jiangsu province (China). Venerable Tinh Van is known for having publicly built Fo Guang Shan - a massive Buddhist architectural complex located in Kaohsiung (Taiwan) and more than 300 large and small temples around the world.

After a period of illness, Most Venerable Tinh Van gave up the report of his death on the afternoon of February 5, 2023 (the full moon of the first month of January - Quy Mao), remaining in the world for 97 years. Currently, the disciples are planning his funeral.
